なんとお姉さんも同じ事務所の人にスカウトされていたとは偶然とはいえ驚きです。スカウトマンはひかりさんとゆり子さんが姉妹だということは全く知らなかったそうですよ。結果、姉妹で同じ時期に芸能活動を開始したのだそうです
女優としての活動
1986年、テレビドラマ「妻たちの課外授業Ⅱ」で女優デビュー

小川知子さんの娘役でした。
ひかりさんは当時14歳でしたが“小学校6年生の子供を持つ親”というのがこのドラマのコンセプトだったようなので6年生の役だったのですかね？
その後は小沢なつきさん、小高恵美さんの記事でも紹介しましたが、「花のあすか組」に出演されました。
香月はるみ役で、ツッパってる小沢なつきさんに冷たくされても負けじと絡んでいくという可愛い役だった記憶があります
その後も多数のテレビドラマやCMに出演するなどして活躍の場を広げていました。花のあすか組に続く代表作は「ママハハブギ」
浅野温子さんの 継子 の役でした。兄役で織田裕二さん、的場浩司さんも出演されていて豪華メンバーでしたよね
そして大人の女優として成長し、日本テレビ「悪女」で初主演を果たす。
あのNHK連続テレビ小説のヒロインにも
1992年にNHK連続テレビ小説「ひらり」でヒロイン役に抜擢され、「NHK紅白歌合戦」で2年連続で紅組の司会を務めた
本当に大活躍でしたよね。「ひらり」の主題歌のドリームズ・カム・トゥルー「晴れたらいいね」も大ヒットしました。
私もこの曲が大好きでよくカラオケで歌っていました。
翌年1993年にはまたまた大ヒットしたドラマ「あすなろ白書」にも出演し、売れっ子女優としてノンストップで突き進んでいきました。
