1980年代後半から1990年代に活躍していた相原勇さんをご存知でしょうか？相撲会の大物との交際が話題にもなりましたよね？その後どうなったのでしょうか？今回は相原勇さんについてまとめてみました。

芸能界入りの経緯
中学生の時にミュージカル「ピーター・パン」で榊原郁恵さんの演ずるピーターパンが観客の上を飛ぶのを観て感動し、「ピーター・パンを演じるために芸能界に入った」と語っている。1984年、ピーター・パンを演じるためには芸能界に入る必要があると考え、高校生の時、第９回ホリプロタレントスカウトキャラバンに応募。中国・四国地区代表として応募総数12万人の中から決勝まで残る
ピーター・パンを演じたいという強い思いで見事オーディションで準決勝まで残るとは努力家ですね
1985年4月、西村知美が優勝した「第1回ミス・モモコクラブ」で準優勝をし、芸能プロダクション原プランニングにスカウトされる。父親から「東京の大学に送ったと思って4年間は待ってやるから、4年経っても成功できなかったらあきらめて帰って来い」と言われ、芸能界デビューのため上京。
お父様も背中を押して送り出してくれたのですね。西村知美さんと決勝で戦い惜しくも敗れてしまいましたが念願の芸能界への扉が開けてよかったですね
念願の歌手デビュー
おニャン子クラブのオーディションを受け合格ももらっていたが「専属のレコード会社、雑誌も全て決まっているから仕事の幅が狭くなってしまう」という事務所の判断でおニャン子クラブへの加入を辞退し、ソロデビューを選択することになった
あのおニャン子クラブに入るはずだったんですね。おニャン子クラブのメンバーと歌っている相原さんを見てみたかった気もしますが
1986年4月、原プランニングから、本名の小原靖子名義で「ちょっとHENSHIN」（ワーナーパイニア）という曲でアイドル歌手として芸能界デビューを果たす。秋元康プロデュースで、当時秋元が手掛けていたおニャン子クラブの「おっとCHIKAN!」に見せかけた企画モノで、相原自身「間違えて買ってくれる人がいないかなって」思っていた。
おニャン子クラブへの加入を辞退しただけに多少なりともライバル心はあったのでしょうね。その4ヶ月後に同じく秋元康プロデュースで「恋はBUCHIBUCHI!」という曲を出しましたが、なんと事務所が倒産してしまい芸能界での活動は一時制限されてしまったそうです。元々弱小事務所だったようです。
相原勇として再始動
1989年2月、TBS「平成名物TV」内の1コーナー「三宅裕司のいかすバンド天国」（通称イカ天）の司会者に抜擢され、明るく元気な女の子といったキャラクターで大ブレイク。この番組出演を機に芸名を相原勇に変えての再スタートだった。
お父さんから言われていた4年間のタイムリミットがこの年だったそうで、もし「イカ天」に抜擢されていなかったら広島に帰っていたと本人が語っていたそうです。
1990年には映画「香港パラダイス」で女優としてもデビュー。その後フジテレビ月9ドラマ「素敵な片思い」に出演し、シングル曲「ボクはパワー」で相原勇として再び歌手デビュー、また文化放送「相原勇のBEBOP YOU」という番組も持ち、他CM出演や番組司会と幅広く活躍した。
夢だった「ピーター・パン」に
19993年から3年連続で、芸能界に入るきっかけとなったミュージカル「ピーター・パン」で主役のピーター・パンに抜擢され夢を叶えた。
当初の事務所が倒産してしまい活動を制限されてしまったりと苦労もありましたが念願のピーター・パンに出演する夢が叶って本当によかったですね。
曙との交際
1996年5月、横綱として活躍していた曙と交際宣言。当時は外国人であるために嫌われ役に位置付けされることが多く、外国人男性と付き合っている相原勇に対しても嫌悪感が持たれた。それを機に人気が急激に低迷した。
3年の交際期間であることを発表しましたが後日、曙から「優勝するまで結婚できない」と伝えられました。
当時この話題は大々的に取り上げられていましたよね。そして曙さんの優勝は目前になり、これでやっと結婚できると確信した相原さんは当時のレギュラー番組をすべて降板したそうです。そして1997年の夏場所で曙は2年ぶりに見事優勝を果たしました。「これでやっと結婚できる」と思っていた相原さんでしたが、優勝会見で思いもよらぬことを曙さんが口にしたのです。
「誰かいい女性がいたら紹介して下さい」
耳を疑うような発言ですよね。それを見ていた相原さんはすぐに曙さんに電話をしましたが、すでに電話は解約されていて繋がらなかったということです。後日代理人の方から「横綱のことは忘れてください。結婚はなかったことにしてください」と言われたそうです。とても酷い話ですよね。
20年の時を経て2人はテレビ番組の企画で再開しお互いの気持ちを話すことができたようです。長かったですがこれで少しすっきりとした気持ちになれたのではないでしょうか
破局後、ニューヨークへ。現在は？結婚してる？
曙と破局後、傷心の相原さんは「このまま日本にいたら死んでしまう」と芸能活動を休止し単身ニューヨークへ渡ることになります。
2001年12月、英語と演劇を学んでいる時に出会ったアイルランド人の画商と結婚するも2011年に離婚。
2013年に再婚。再婚相手はハワイに住む一般男性で、相原さんもハワイに移住しているという。
曙さんとの辛い別れを経験し、その後も離婚したりと激動の人生を送ってきた相原さんですが現在の旦那さんと今はハワイで幸せに暮らしているようです。調べた限りではお子さんはいらっしゃらないようですが夫婦2人今後もハワイでの生活を送っていくと断言していらっしゃるので幸せなんだなということが伝わってきますね。
そして現在は痩せて奇麗になり浜崎あゆみに似ているとか？
